Is a Non Profit 501c3 that exists for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of God with the lost world
Mission Statement: We exist to teach the Gospel until faith becomes action.
The ministry began with a burden for the lost and for the falsely converted. There is a colossal amount of ignorance in our nation of who God is, and there are many places on this earth where God is not glorified. This is what compelled us to start Gospel of God Ministries (GGM). The ministry began in 2008 with me simply walking the streets of Raleigh, sharing the Gospel. Our hope is that the entire world would come to know the saving knowledge of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
The four major functions of (GGM) are,Sharing, Equipping, Defending, and Supporting the local church. If a clear Gospel is not preached there is false hope and this leads to false conversion which is a dangerous place for anyone to be. They have just enough knowledge of Jesus to go to hell. This is parasitic, and millions go to church every Sunday worshipping a God they have made up in their minds verses the truth revealed in Scripture.
Why do we want people to share the Gospel of Jesus?
* We are failing to communicate and live the Gospel to a lost and dying world.
* The harvest is so great and the labors are few. ( Matthew 9:37) It is a fact that a very low percentage of Christians share their faith on a regular basis. Bill bright from Campus Crusade for Christ say it is as low as 3%.
There are four major ways in which the Gospel of God Ministries will share.
The apostle Paul believed that the word of God preached in the power of the Spirit was enough to convert a lost soul (Romans 1:16). We believe the same here at GGM. We are under compulsion to preach the Gospel and do not have to manipulate anyone to come to Christ.
We have to compassionately show them their condition and who God is and the rest is up to God. When open air preaching, we search for big events where there will be many people and we proclaim the word of God.
If we go into an area, we always find a local church that is healthy doctrinally to which we can refer a person if they want to know more about Christ and membership into His church.
During one-on-one evangelism, we take the time to explain the Gospel to people on an intimate level. Using God’s perfect law, we go to people in order to explain the truth of their condition before the God who created them.
This is the most compassionate thing someone can do for an unbeliever and some of these encounters have lead to long term relationships through which we get to pour more truth into the person’s life.
Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some as apostles and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;
This is what I love to do most; to preach the Word verse by verse. In this setting, we explain in detail who God is, who man is, and why the Gospel is truly Good News. This area of our ministry is new; however, by God’s grace we believe He will continue open doors. This is also where we teach more about evangelism and our need to go back to the rock from which we are cut, the Historical Biblical Gospel.
Matthew 5:18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
We know that the most powerful thing anyone can possess outside of salvation in Jesus Christ is the Word of God. In this area of our ministry we give out Bibles and tracts to individuals with whom we talk. By doing this we are giving them something that will outlast their physical bodies. Through the Word of God, we hope that they will come to know Him.
When most people come to know Christ, they are scared to share their faith because they did not know how. This branch of GGM will work to equip the saints with a method that will bring confidence and boldness in sharing their faith. It is a simple and affective method that has given confidence and boldness to thousands of believers. The reason it is so affective is that it is biblical, and is modeled by Jesus in His approach to unbelievers.
Why do we want to equip people with the Gospel of God?
* Jesus did- Jesus gave his disciples a model of calling people to repentance; therefore, we have to also. (Luke 24:47)
* We want ignite people to put Gospel into action.
* We want the nominal Christian to be encouraged and given a platform to share his or her faith.
* We want to give people hands on training in sharing their faith.
* We want help pastors shepherd their flock in evangelism.
Why do we want to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
* Peter the apostle said we should be ready to give a hope for what we believe. (1 Peter 3:15)
* False Gospel’s are being taught and must be exposed and condemned. (Gal 1:9 )
* False religions and cults are saturating our culture catering to the rebellious human heart.
Why do we want to support churches with the Gospel of God?
* We have to steward the gift of evangelism we have been given, and this is done by training other evangelist and equipping the body to effectively share the Gospel.
* The local church is how Christ is advancing His kingdom on earth.
What is the EPM?
It is a movement. We want to find specific men that have the gift of evangelism and disciple them to continue the work of an evangelist.
Why EPM? Evangelism Preparation Movement
The local church can send these men with future church plants to continue this type of evangelism and train others.
Acts 11:25-26: “And he left Tarsus to look for Saul; and when he had found him, he brought him back to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
Barnabas saw the gift in Paul. We should look for these gifts in men and train them to be bold evangelists.
